We are a very small "Brick and Mortar" shop with a very big love for the 'ukulele community.
We believe in exploring and "fitting" the right ukulele to it's new owner. Kind of like picking out a new pet...they sometimes choose you. We encourage "visiting" with your potential ukulele and we never pressure anyone or try to up-sell anything. We are very proud of our reputation of being caring business owners who derive joy from supporting touring artists as well as being a hub for the diverse ukulele communities that we serve.
We live in a community that holds small, local business close to its heart and we are very grateful for that. We cannot compete with large online sellers, regardless of whether we are able physically be in our shop or not, but what we can offer is our genuine personalized service and experience. It isn't uncommon to find Lloyd giving free "mini-lessons" to customers and he has a following of "regulars" who come in for their weekly dose of "Anacapa Ukulele Aloha."
